Sóller is a must-see on the northwest coast of Mallorca

Sóller is a beautiful town on the northwest coast of the island of Mallorca. It is located about 3 kilometers inland of its port, the Port of Sóller. The town emerges over a fertile valley surrounded by mountains. Sóller shares this valley with the town of Fornalutx and the village of Biniaraix, and its total population is around 13,000 inhabitants.

Sóller valley and Port de Sóller are half an hour from Palma de Mallorca airport and have very good communications, with its own rail, tram and motorcoach service.

The valley and the Serra de Tramuntana mountains are the preferred destination for people from all over the world, especially those who love hiking, nature, culture, water sports, gastronomy or simply to rest, away from beaches and massification.

Sóller is known for the cultivation of oranges, which is why the Orange Gastronomic Days & Fair, which is celebrated in spring, is one of the most popular events in the municipality. The May Fairs and Festivals in Sóller, traditionally known as the Moors and Christians Festivities are also a highlight. Finally, the town celebrates its summer feast for Sant Bartomeu.

The weekly market is held every Saturday in Sóller.
