Sant Jaume's Feasts in Binissalem

Binissalem celebrates its patronal festivities in summer, the day of Sant Jaume (James, the great), the 25th of July. This saint is intimately linked to the people and an example of this is the emblem of Binissalem, with the shell of pilgrims.

The festivities of Binissalem have a wide range of sports, cultural and musical activities with the taste of summer.

Particularly noteworthy is the “Festa de la Platja” (Beach Party), in which the village square is disguised as a sandy beach for an entire afternoon.
