Consell, that already existed in Roman times, stands out today for its wine production

Consell is the fourth smallest village of Mallorca. With 13.64 km², it is one of the richest villages for its agricultural production. Its land is part of the denomination of origin (D.O.) of Binissalem. The vineyard is, in fact, one of the main elements of the village´s landscape.

The village is divided into two zones: the highest, in the north, full of almond trees, carob trees and grass for livestock, and a lower area located in the south, where the cultivation of vines takes place.

Consell, which was one of the relevant centers in Roman times, has also medieval buildings such as the church, the possessió of Can Ribas, and the Pont Trencat, which is located on the Camí del Raiguer.

Every Sunday of the year there is a flea market in Consell, with lots of second-hand objects at a very good price.
